As
a Book Publisher, Croxton
House was captivated by the stories of what people endured and
experienced in their journey. David Griffin and David Parker wanted
to expand the story telling into a wider mix of media channels
to inspire a new audience.
Documentary
film making is a natural extension and having developed a series
of documentaries that follow interesting characters and personalities,
Croxton House is open to new markets and opportunities.
Online
content is concentrated around lifestyle portals. These portals
were established to create communities, allowing readers to participate,
contribute and to be connected, facilitating a network for exchange.
Podcasts
became an extension of book publishing through the many hours
of interviews that David Griffin had conducted. Technology has
allowed the writer to become a narrator and with the evolution
of audio books and ebooks, podcasting has provided a personal
perspective to the story-telling process.
When
a story evolves, with Croxton House it can be produced as a book,
a documentary, a podcast a news story and marketed through the
distribution network as a digital and tactile product.
